Ron Bailey's Battle with Cancer

Donation protected
Those that knew Ron realize he had a deep and abiding love for his wife Linda, for his family and friends, his country and his community.  His entire life was about service and his family.

While residing in Cheyenne, Ron participated in many community activities, including Cheyenne Frontier Days Parade Committee in 1977. He was named as Cheyenne Frontier Days “Volunteer of the Year” in 1998 and became a member of CFD Heels in 2000. Ron was also a member of Kiwanis Club and worked numerous events including the annual Clam Bake and Cheyenne Greek Festival. He was also a life member of the Security Police Association. Ron’s community work continued during his employment at LCCC, by volunteering for many events at the community college. Ron was also a retired veteran of the United States Air Force and a Community Service Officer for the Cheyenne Police Department in Wyoming.  He will be missed by all whose life’s he has touched.

After a two-year long battle with cancer, Ron will be laid to rest this week where his pain will finally end.  His wife Linda has been left with not only losing the love of her life, but with the culmination of two years of medical expenses, desperately attempting to cure Ron’s terrible disease.  We can only imagine that Ron’s last wishes were for Linda to not go through this on her own.

Please help Linda’s pain and share with others who are able to help as well.
