Ron & Rachel Ulibarrí Scholarship

Ron & Rachel Ulibarrí are advocates of higher education. They firmly believe that the intelligence you gain in this life will remain with you always. They feel that education is the best way to position yourself for success.

They are both pioneers of higher education in their respective families. They both started college after high school, but because of the trials of life they were forced to put their education on hold.  As working adults with children to raise and bills to pay, they supported each other and resolved to graduate from university. Through perseverance and dedication, they both realized their dream.

Ron was able to complete his degree 25 yrs after he graduated from high school, just one year before his oldest son graduated high school.  He then became a teacher where he impacted many to either stay in school or go back and finish even if life took them in another direction.  10 years later Ron went back to school to complete a Masters Degree. 

Rachel was able to accomplish her goal and realize her dream to complete her higher education 44 years after she graduated from high school.  She never gave up on her goal to finish her Bachelor's Degree. 

Together they have inspired many to stay strong, to finish and to return. Because of their great example of never giving up on their dreams, we dedicate and consecrate these funds to assist as many individuals as we can to help them along their journey to improve their circumstances.
