Ron Adams' Race To Beat Lung Cancer

Ron Adams, father of three and grandfather of five has spent his entire life in the Midwest - always with a fascination for motorcycles and specialty vehicles. At a recent doctor visit, Ron was unexpectedly diagnosed with Adenosquamous Carcinoma, a rare form of Lung Cancer.
Ron is scheduled for Lung Lobectomy Surgery April 3rd, where approximately 50% of his right lung will be removed. Initial recovery estimate is 8 weeks with minimal physical activity, and full recovery hopefully within 6-8 months. Breathing and rigorous physical activity will be permanently reduced.
Chemotherapy and/or radiation may also be required for follow up treatments.
Now Ron is focused on a different kind of race. He, a self-employed small business owner, took his love for motorcycles and specialty vehicles to the internet, and created a business and website online, which he has owned and operated for over 14 years.
His wife Char, has spent the last 27 years working as a Direct Support Professional with intellectual disability clients.
This past year, they uprooted their lives and moved to another state to be closer to family, which created a dramatic shift in their lives.
Ron’s cancer, although caught early, will make a profound impact on their lives in the next few months with a significant income loss from the many unexpected and uncovered medical expenses.
