Romeo has been my everything for 17 years. I got Romeo when he was only 8 weeks old. He moved with me across the country, sat beside me through heartbreak, my 1st apartment, cheered me on during graduations, sweet 16s, kept me company during COVID, and has witnessed EVERY milestone in my life from 16 years old to 33 years old, and made every place feel like home. From New York to LA, he’s been the one constant thing in my life. My soul dog. My peace. My child and most importantly, my heaven on earth.

Now, his body is ready to head home. His kidneys and liver are sensitive, and after speaking with the vet, I’ve made the decision to not continue with more testing or treatments. Instead, I want to focus on giving Romeo the softest, most love-filled goodbye.

From June 19 to June 24, my only goal is to make his final days gentle, full of cuddles, sunshine, some good food, sunbathing, favorite treats, peace, and trips all over LA! No more poking or prodding. Just love.

This GoFundMe is to help cover the cost of a gentle at-home goodbye, transportation, cremation, a paw print, a lock of his hair, his ashes, and a beautiful urn to honor him.
