Romarna's Berklee Tuition Crisis

After finishing my first year at Berklee College of Music, I have unfortunately hit financial difficulty due to one of my main donors having to withdraw 2 weeks before I'm due to begin my 3rd semester. So I need to raise £5,000 (approx. $6,500) to cover my outstanding tuition fees.

Within the last year at Berklee, I have been taught by some of my absolute heroes and met some truly incredible musicians and people.

Some of these opportunities include:

- Performing twice at the Berklee Performance Centre, one of the shows being the sold out Bruno Mars Tribute


- Being featured on Berklee's Youtube page : 

- Going tour with Courtney Pine:

- Participated in workshops and classes with: Terri Lyne Carrington, Ralph Peterson, Victor Wooten, Ron Carter, Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, George Garzone, Francisco Mela, Vijay Iyer, Tia Fuller, Omar Hakim, Kenny Garrett, Anat Cohen, John Patitucci, Esperanza Spalding, David Liebman, Kenny Werner, Bob Kaufmann and many more...

- Making the Dean's List for a 3.9 GPA

And since returning to the UK for summer, I have booked over 15 main shows around the UK under my own name, including venues such as Pizza Express Live, Ghost Notes, Brainchild Festival, Mau Mau Bar and Kansas Smitty's Club, with a number of them even selling out! 

I’m currently in the process of writing and producing my first  independent album, something being made possible by studying at Berklee, of which you will receive a single from if you are able to donate!

Having the leave Berklee due to financial difficulty would be devastating to me... I feel like I have so much more to learn, explore and achieve there!
