- Hi there! Our names are Nikki and Lucie, we are trying to raise funds for my dear friend and Lucie’s spouse John rookes. Recently John has been diagnosed with cancer that had started on his skin and on the bone, unfortunately he had double vision and went back up to the hospital to get checked out and had found out that it had spread to his brain and could no longer work at his job. After his rounds of radiation and immunotherapy he can no longer walk on his own as he now listed as a fall risk. We are hoping to raise 400$ to buy a wheelchair for him so he is able to get around on his own as he can be very stubborn and doesn’t want to trouble us to help him get around. Anything would help :)
