A single mother of 4, a loving grandmother of 8, a generous hard working woman and an amazing friend.
This beautiful and kind-hearted woman was devastated when she found out she was diagnosed with Aggressive Stage 3 Breast Cancer.
Over the past month she has undergone countless blood tests, scans, hospital visits and specialist appointments.. and will shortly be undergoing multiple treatments as well as surgery.
Roi has been known to be very strong and independent, in her current condition she has had to cease work in order to undergo Chemotherapy and now has the unexpected burden of having to move out of her house suddenly.
With everything going on it has taken a massive toll on her. As you can imagine Roi is dealing with a lot at the moment not just physically but mentally, emotionally and financially. Although with her current circumstances she still continues to stay positive, put on a beautiful smile and make you laugh regardless.
Her current treatment is ongoing Chemotherapy and Radiation for the next 12 months atleast, with hopes of surgery in the near future.
Unfortunately Medicare doesn’t cover everything and she doesn’t have private health insurance.
So we are asking our friends, whanau & extended community to help support Roi by donating towards the cost of medical bills and the unexpected burden of daily living expenses now that she’s unable to work during this time.
If you know Roi she is very reticent to ask for help, so we’re kindly asking on her behalf as we feel that one of the best ways to support her through the next 12 months is by giving her financial support where we can.
