<div>I hope you're doing well. I wanted to talk to you about something close to my heart – my soul-dog, Rogue. You might remember that I became her mom on Easter, April 10th, 2023, and she's been a bundle of joy ever since.

<div>Over the past months, Rogue and I have been through a lot together. From getting her caught up on vaccinations, a DNA test (<em>to better understand her unique medical needs</em>), and even arranging Rogue's transportation for a cross-country move from Tucson, Arizona, to Atlanta, Georgia – it's been quite the adventure, all as a result of an unfortunate situation where I had to involuntarily commit an immediate family member.

<div>Rogue has faced some tough health challenges in less than a year. In addition to the above, she has battled through Giardia (a parasite infection), a post-spay surgical site infection, a previous leg injury that needed meds, and more. Through it all, her spirit has remained unbreakable. She still brings me joy each day and exudes a fun, loving spirit.

<div>Now, Rogue's dealing with a torn ACL (CCL). It's causing her pain and making it very difficult for her to get around. I have to pick her up and take her up/down the stairs, up and off the bed (though she chooses to sleep in her always open crate bed as of late.

<div>Here's the kicker – my pet insurance doesn't cover orthopedic injuries for the first 12 months, and we're just short of that mark.
</div>

</div>
<div>Rogue needs surgery, and it's not cheap. The whole shebang, including pain management and aftercare (follow-up visits) adds up to $5,000. But it's her best shot at a pain-free, active life. This does NOT include rehabilitation services afterwards if needed. I will be sharing detailed bills and estimates as well as additional updates throughout the process.

<div>I'm not one to ask for help, in fact, I'm usually the helper, but Rogue and I can't handle this on our own. So, I'm turning to you, our awesome friends, family and folks. Every little bit helps – whether it's a donation or just sharing Rogue's story with your crew.
