We write to you not in sympathy, doubt or despair, but in Faith and Hope.
As many of you know our father was diagnosed with Colon cancer back a few years ago. He had the surgery to remove the tumor and went through chemo and radiation after.
Recently he has now been diagnosed with “Stage 4 Lung Cancer” and this has brought on a whole new battle for him and our family.
For any of you who know our Dad, you know his heart for people. He lives his life to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has spent the last 30+ years traveling around the world ministering the love of Jesus. He has dedicated his life to be a servant and give of his time, talent & treasure. His joy has always came from doing what God has called him to do. He continues to show that with the Lord, He cannot be defeated and he will not quit!
Seeing our Dad go through this battle has not been easy, but one thing that is for certain… He has NOT given up Hope!
He continues to stand firmly on Isaiah 41:10 which says "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
He is in Faith and any opportunity that comes to doubt, he instead speaks the promises of God according to the Healing that has already been paid for when Jesus shed his blood on the cross like it tells us in Isaiah 53:5.
Over the last few years, there has been times of struggle naturally with finances because our Dad is self employed. This has happened because of the battle that he has fought with the different treatments, being so physically taxed, and the natural effects of this disease.
The recent diagnosis has stopped him from being able to work the last 6 weeks and that has created quite a bit of financial burdens. As of now there is no way for him to return to work with the way that he feels physically.
The cost of everyday life, medical bills from the past and current, and the very expensive treatments they are needing to do soon, it is naturally overwhelming. But we are believing for God to provide and want to give the opportunity for anyone to help our family during this time.
Our Dad would never want to ask for money from anyone, but as his daughters and knowing the situation closely, Our parents need the help.
