Thank you all for your heartfelt concern for my family. Hurricane Maria has almost entirely destroyed my Abuela Ana's home and left many family members uncertain about the future of their life on the island. I spent most summers as a kid here playing outside with my cousins until the street lights came on.
They all feel blessed to be alive but living in PR is going to get extrodinarily difficult in the coming months. There is no power, no water, work and schools are closed which leads to no income. Supplies such as food, drinking water and medicines are scarce and being rationed. Relief agencies are on the way but resources tend to trickle down slowly. This is an opportunity to help a family, my family, directly that is in need. Chris and I will match whatever funds are collected. Thank you all for your kindness and generosity.
