[ENGLISH VERSION]

We are seeking help to support the Gonzalez family, they are currently facing an extremely difficult situation and any support you can provide would be deeply appreciated.

On August 31, 2018, Rodrigo Gonzalez  was involved in a severe head on collision in Newark, Delaware. Rodrigo, just 18 years old, is a recent high school graduate from Delcastle High School, who was about to begin a post high school program in Autotech on September 11th.

Just after 3pm on August 31st, paramedics rushed Rodrigo to Christiana Care Hospital in critical condition; his head, arms, and legs were critically impacted by the crash which completely totaled the vehicle he was driving. Upon arrival at the hospital, both of his arms and legs were found to be broken and the swelling in his brain was such that doctors recommended he be put into an induced coma. Since the accident, Rodrigo has shown some improvement, he is no longer in an induced coma and has finally opened his eyes, we are thankful for these baby steps and hope that he makes a full recovery.

Rodrigo’s parents, Doña Silvia and Don Chuy, have not left their son's bedside since the accident. In order to be by his side, they have had to miss a significant amount of work. The unexpected medical bills, combined with this reduction in income, have become a stressor that we would like to ease from the Gonzalez family’s shoulders. We are asking for contributions to assist the Gonzalez family in this difficult time, absolutely any amount helps. Many thanks in advance. Please keep Rodrigo and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
