This is Heathers post before their accident... Prayers for this fun loving couple that calls Montello home. We are strong and our care for neighbors, family and friends is huge!
"Yesterday I was posting our final ride of the season pictures on the bike. Little did I know it was the last ride on that bike. A quite windy day.. but trying to enjoy our ride to Sheboygan. 3 miles from home a deer ran out in front of us and ended our trip. I can't thank each and everyone enough who has reached out to me or Rod. I was discharged with only bruises and scratches but Rodney is in ICU for a couple more days. 5 broken bones, a collapsed lung, a spleen laceration,neck sprain, and closely monitoring funky kidney functions.. My heart breaks that I can't be there in the hospital with him due to covid no visitor restrictions with all the well wishes i know he will have a speedy recovery!!"
