Henderson Native Rod Gray Needs Your Help

Henderson native Rod Gray is in desperate need of our help.  Rod and his family live just outside of Houston, Texas and have lost their home to the floods associated with Hurrican Harvey.  Their home is currently taking on water, and with more rain expected, the situtation will only get worse.  

Rod grew up in Henderson and most of us have kept in touch with Rod and followed his story.  He and his family have been through alot this past year - more than most families endure in their lifetime. He has a wife and young children at home and thankfully, all are safe together in a temporary living space - just without much of anything left to their names.  

Having grown up in Henderson,  I always knew there were people there to help us if we ever needed.  The face of our town has changed alot since many of us left it, however, the people have not changed.  It is time for us to step up and help our hometown friend.  As with most victims related to Hurricane Harvey, flood insurance is something that was not on the minds of many Houston area residents.  They will need a tremendous amount of help to overcome this tragedy. The aid through FEMA and other disaster relief agencies will be slow at best.  We have to step up and help Rod in this time of tragedy.   Please post this to all Henderson Facebook pages and spread the word.  It is time for our hometown community to rally for one of our own.  These funds will be used to help Rod and his wife, Amie, start the rebuilding process.  Any amount will help.
