Rocky’s Journey

These last 6 months have been ones of
unexpected diagnoses for a couple of our fur babies.  The first of which was one for our newest member and puppy Riggs
who was born with a heart defect and
underwent open heart surgery.  We put
almost everything we had into saving 
this pup from our savings to financing.  

We are now facing the possibility of 
losing Rocky.  We took him into the vet
due to him not bearing weight on one of his back legs.  The Xrays show a fracture
in his tibia and also indicates probable
osteosarcoma.  Our intentions are to
have CT scans done to confirm the
prognosis and determine if it’s spread.

Rocky would most likely be having leg
amputation performed if the cancer has not metastasized.  We will be using what funds we have at the moment plus I have reached out to non-profits that may be
able to assist us. So far I haven’t had any
luck with that.
