Rockport Recovery and Rescue Effort

Rockport Rescue and Recovery is a team of Austinites who have friends and family directly impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Our friends in Rockport, TX are in the process of rebuilding their lives and we intend to help them. We are in frequent contact with local coordinators and receive daily updates on various ways to help. The city and fire department are requesting specific items (generators, gas, chainsaws, building materials, tarps, food, etc) and as donations come in, this list changes.

Our goal is for the funds of this campaign to go directly towards purchasing the most updated list of supplies needed. Obtaining these goods and materials can prove challenging considering the limited resources in the Rockport area, thus our reason for purchasing items in Austin. Our team will head to Rockport this Sunday to deliver supplies, pending approval from local authorities. We will continue this process until the campaign funds have been exhausted.
