Raising funds to support feeding those in need

Donation protected

2021, I am pivoting to focus efforts on my local community (Iron County, UT). This campaign has been a vehicle to help many people of the Navajo Nation. Thus, we may finally disable the campaign but would like to see if there are those outside our community who would like to help.

==2020 ==

I'm writing to ask you to support me and my fundraising effort to support the Navajo people. Just a small donation of a few dollars can help us get much-needed supplies to the Navajo Tribe. Your donation will go towards purchasing food, water, cleaning supplies, hygiene,  sanitization supplies, and logistical support (renting trailer, gasoline). I am a Navajo, I was born in Tsabiikiin (see my intro in Navajo below), I grew up in Kaibeto and Page, I have a connection to the Dine', it is my blood, the Tsédeeshgizhnii, and the Tábąąhá.

I have been donating money to other causes that are proving aid to the Navajo people but want to be more directly involved. I feel that I can do more by providing the supplies directly to the distribution point that supports our vulnerable people. The primary purpose is to buy supplies, rent trailers, and pay for gasoline to drive from Sothern Utah to a collection point in Page, AZ that serves Kaibeto, LeChee, Bittersprings, Inscription House, Navajo Mountain, and Shonto.

Supplies include:
- water
- flour
- beans/rice (bagged)
- canned veggies
- canned meats
- toothpaste and dental hygiene products
- personal hygiene
- cleaning supplies
- hand sanitizer

We've been self-funding most of this but want to try crowdsourcing to make a bigger impact, but I believe we can reach more people if we work together. A friend of mine, long ago, sang a song that said, "be the change you want to see."

Thus, I ask you, the world, help me, help us, make a difference, and help us be the change we want to see. Ahee-hee (thank you).
