Rocket Arcade's mission is to bring fun, safe and affordable entertainment to people of all ages by playing, learning and shopping a unique collection of retro arcade games, art and gifts. You can enjoy playing 75+ retro pinball, video games and coin-op amusements from the 70's, 80's and 90's. It’s truly a blast from the past!
Rocket Arcade has been asked by the State of Michigan to remain closed since March 15, 2020 with only a short window of opportunity in October to open to the public. While we have done everything possible to creatively generate income through home rentals, private parties and online sales ... it's simply not enough.
The damage to thousands of Michigan businesses, especially those in the amusement industry, will last for years to come. For Rocket Arcade, the extended closure has meant losing the entire summer tourist season (or 50% of annual sales). And now we expect to miss the Thanksgiving through New Year Holiday Season which puts us in a position we never thought we would be … asking our friends and supporters for a little help. Donations of any size will be greatly appreciated with 100% going to arcade preservation.
We had only been open for several months before the world changed ... but in those few short months and those since, we have seen what Rocket Arcade can be for South Haven and the surrounding community. The laughter, the smiles, the pure enjoyment of family fun is what we intended to bring into this world with Rocket Arcade. Please help us make it through a 2nd year. We will be eternally grateful.
