Rock Summit: The Sequel. The Crew of Rock Summit Basketball players with the leadership of Coach Derrick Jackson (Ohio Northern University) has shown the Summit City and beyond that amazing things can come out of hard work, love for the game, and brotherhood. Together, in the past year, they have built a solid foundation and this travel season... they rise.
Please help support Rock Summit Basketball in any way you can! Our vision remains to bring Christ back into the game of basketball, teach lifelong skills that go way beyond the court all while making it affordable to those who may not get this opportunity otherwise. God is on the move and making a difference using the game of basketball.
We see this program make a difference everyday in these young mens lives. Coach Jackson wills to hand down what has been given him and is the inspiration behind Rock Summit Basketball. Matthew 7:24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.”

e building a family. IRON SHARPENS IRON!
A select few of these young men have committed themselves to join a team based on the principles of our vision. This will be a traveling team that contends in the region’s top tournaments for Grade 9 Basketball. Funds will be used for tournament entries, hotel stay, team travel expenses, and equipment. Coach Jackson volunteers his
time to ensure that each child gets top level coaching and mentoring on and off the court. Positive grade cards, behavioral standards, and volunteer work are all a requirement for each child participating in this program.
