This marks the 'year of the new' for me and I am already off to a great start! With an incredibly FILLED heart to have seen how my friends and family have come together to help the Happy Kids... I venture out today on my last day with these bright, beautiful and high potential children in Ghana to wrap my week with the Happy Kids Foundation to bringing vision, thoughts and most of all LOVE to the beautiful children that reside in Gbi-Wegbe.
Happy Kids is a school that feeds 200 children on a daily basis and houses 50 children and orphans who are just looking for a fair chance at life. The school's mission driven approach is focused around empowering the children to learn income generating skills that can sustain their lives while also going to school and getting an education.
So, now as I walk towards town reflecting on this journey, I say THANK YOU for making me who I am today to facilitate this journey and for the donations, emotional support and LOVE that everyone has given me along the way. I am looking forward to my NEW future, I AM BURSTING with happiness!! I am still asking for any donation, in any amount to help the teachers and kids of the Happy Kids Foundation.
This fundraiser has come such a long way, fed on the commitment of my network. These kids need ongoing support and a buffer to help them work seamlessly from one month to the next, so any amount will help if you are willing and your HAPPY thoughts will be great too!!!
