Rob's Emergency Vehicle Fundraiser

Hi, I'm Rob. I'm a bookseller here in Mendocino, California. Our beloved family car has been through a lot over the years and has finally given in. At this point, it would cost more to fix her than to replace her, and we just don't have the money to do either. I don't like reaching out in this way, but without a vehicle to get to and from work, there's no way my family and I could make ends meet here on the coast. I have an amazing job, a beautiful wife, and a fantastic daughter who is doing wonderfully in her Junior year at Mendocino High School. Recently, I was approached with some help from binc (Book Industry Charitable Foundation). Binc will give me a matching grant to help pay for a new vehicle. This foundation is designed to help booksellers in need and they are really eager to pitch in. The matching grant means that they will contribute as much as I can raise, up to $2000. So I am reaching out, to you, friends and family. We are needing this replacement car immediately, so anything you can pitch in would be wonderful and appreciated greatly. Thanks.
