Our team, the Robo Knights from Edmond, Oklahoma, won the Oklahoma First Lego League Robotics State Championship on December 9, 2017. We are honored to represent our state at the FLL World Championship in Houston TX on April 17-21, 2018, competing against over a 100 teams from the US and around the world. We need help with the expenses of the trip plus supplies for this world premier S.T.E.M. competition.
Our team consists of only three families and have been mostly self-funded. Our kids have exceeded our expectations in the field of robotics. Our coaches are Jorge Aquino, Timothy Thellmann, and Raj Swamy (back row). Excitement has mounted to spring forth to our new adventure.
This journey will come with escalating expenses. We will be using the funds for registration, travel, lodging, materials, and to improve our product prototypes according to the recommendations of several professionals including Oklahoma DEQ and Oklahoma State University. Help us represent Oklahoma proudly to the world on this international technology stage.
