Get Well Soon Dad

On Saturday November 25, 2017, our father Rob Jones, was at work in northern Alaska when his boss noticed he was struggling to breathe and sent him to an on-site medic.  To our surprise, this was not the first time he had suffered from extreme fatigue.  For months he had battled numerous ailments ranging from kidney stones to coughing up blood.  Being the gentle, hard-worker he is, Rob continued to work and did not want to alert family.  Rob's work normally requires a generous amount of manual labor, but when he physically could not complete simple tasks, he was medivac-ed to Providence Hospital in Anchorage.

So far 7 different specialists have seen Rob and all are absolutely baffled by his condition.  His kidneys, his bladder, his lungs, his heart -- all were damaged.


As we are still searching for answers, Rob is slowly improving in the ICU.  We hold on to hope of recovery as we've seen small miracles since his hospitalization.   Tests are in progress and we plan to periodically release updates on Rob's condition.


The fundraising goal is a minimum of the medical expenses that the family will face by January of 2018.  We have yet to calculate loss of income since we cannot gauge if and when work will be an option again.
