I'm soliciting your prayers and your financial support for the burial and funeral services of my mother Robin Reynolds-Pridgett. Unfortunately she passed away on January 21, 2015 around Midnight at Metro Hospital.
I was under the impression that my mom’s life insurance policy was still active. Over the course of the past two days, I've learned that since she was laid off of work in 2013 her policy has now lapsed. So we are calling on the support of those whom may have known her or me.
I am in no way the type of person to neither beg nor ask anything from anyone. I am a giver by heart and many of you that know me personally can possibly attest to that. I am paying for the majority of the funeral services myself but unfortunately I am stretching and cannot cover the remaining portions.
Your support will help to give my mother a proper burial and funeral service. Those of you that knew her also knew that she was one of the most genuinely kind-hearted people alive. Stricken by the diabetes and high blood pressure she was called home way too soon.
This is not a typical situation we’re dealing with. My mom’s death was a possible result of medical negligence and it’s currently being investigated as such. Though the staff did everything for over 45 minutes to save her life, she was not properly cared for and the medicines they gave her triggered her to go into congestive heart failure. The entire story is way too graphic to share here due to the nature of her death, but if you’d truly like to know, please feel free to contact me. She walked into the hospital on her own, but she did not walk out. The events that occurred in the hospital that night is certainly the most tragic events that I’ve personally have encountered in my entire life.
My mother was an organ donor and due to this her remains are going to decay at a faster pace. This is the reason for the urgency in this fundraiser, because we are under time restraints in order to pay for everything and proceed with the burial. I’ve already taken care of the portion for embalming and some of the other expenses, but I am short on the rest.
Please find it in your heart to contribute to this fundraiser in our time of need. I believe God will always repay those who give from their heart, His Word says that He loves a cheerful giver. I ask that you do the best you can do, whatever amount that is laid upon your heart. Every dollar and more importantly every prayer can and will make a difference.
**I ask that you please share this amongst your network. **
Thank You Kindly,
