Robin's Gender Affirming Laser Hair Removal

Hi there! Since we last spoke, I am happy to report that the last gofundme was a huge success; it got me all the way here, to Chicago, where I now live and work. I was able to live off that money for just long enough to find work and to get myself established, and for the first time in my life, it has finally allowed me to pursue my goals of finally starting the process of transitioning, which I am now well on!

I began the process at the end of spring break - I took my first big step by going to an informed consent clinic in Chicago, which got me started on HRT, and I've been on it ever since, never missing a day. I've slowly come out of my shell in the clothes I wear, speak, and present myself.

Last week, I finally came out to my job; this was the marker of the end of me being in the closet anywhere, which has made me extremely happy - I now feel like I'm free to pursue transitioning, full speed ahead, so there are some things I need to get taken care of!

The first thing is first! The largest source of my dysphoria: body hair, mainly my facial hair. This has been a thorn in my side for basically my entire life. I shave every day now to make myself bearable to look at in the mirror, but even then, I have to use quite a lot of makeup to cover up the shadow, and by lunchtime, it's about useless for that as well. It's a huge source of stress for me, but I haven't been able to afford to get laser hair removal started

So, I come again humbly to you all, in hopes that with the help of my friends, I can move forward one step closer to feeling like the girl I know is hidden inside of me, who I get these glimpses of, every now and then.
