Robin Lawrence: Breast Cancer Fund

On December 3, 2015 our family received news that would change everything. Our mother, Robin Lawrence, was given a diagnosis of Right Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with positive lymph node involvement. After a variety of tests it has been determined that this cancer has metastasized into four different bones throughout her body.  In short, she has stage IV Breast Cancer with no known cure.  After the initial rounds of appointments with the Sparrow Cancer Center it has become obvious to our family that this is a very aggressive form of cancer that is being fed by hormones, as she is also HER2 Positive encouraging accelerated cancer growth.  

Our family has rallied around Robin. She will not be alone in this fight, but it is going to take everything we have to get through this year. Without insurance, and unable to work full time due to treatment this year will come with an assortment of financial burdens. With the outpouring of love and support from our friends and family we have decided to initiate this GoFundMe to help ease the burden, and help Robin fight this fight.

We are still early in this process, and unsure of exactly what we need help with. For now, every little bit will help. We appreciate all of your love and support, and we will keep you updated along this journey.
