Robin VanWagner Clarke: Road to Recovery Love Fund

Robin VanWagner Clarke had an aneurysm on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. She had one of the rarest forms of aneurysms where surgery was needed for her to survive. For the first 3 weeks, she was in critical condition and in ICU. Robin underwent many surgeries and procedures, and the surgeons and medical staff continued to be cautiously optimistic as she improved and yet had setbacks during this time.

Today, Robin is slowing improving – baby steps, but we know it is a long road to recovery. She is beginning to smile and nod and blink in responses to questions. Robin will be doing her rehabilitation at Meadowbrook in Urbana, Illinois. At this time, we do not know how long she will remain in Meadowbrook and continue with rehab.

Due to the long road to recovery and knowing there will be medical expenses not covered by insurance, we are asking for donations to this Go Fund Me to assist Mike and Robin with the extra expenses. In addition to the donation, please continue with prayers. Even if you are unable to donate, please continue with prayers for Robin’s healing as well as prayers for the medical staff and family as we go on this journey together.

We are blessed to have Robin with us. She is a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Each of us is a better person to have her in our life. We know that God has great things planned for her.
