Robin Thorbjornsen

I am starting this go fund me page for my beloved aunt Robin. Robin was admitted to Huntington Hospital approximately three weeks ago. She has been diagnosed with lung cancer that has now spread to her stomach and brain, at this point her liver is failing and the doctors have rendered her condition terminal.

Robin has spend her life as a working mother raising two children, Mason, 25 years old and Megan, 21 years old. She has been married to her husband, Kirk, for 26 years now. Six months ago kirk lost his job and is now on unemployment, where as a result they lost their health insurance. They now have insurance where they have to pay a premium for it. Robin has continued to work part-time at her job at Stop & Shop Supermarket up until she was admitted into the hospital. Robin has worked for the past 20 years at the same location, first Waldbaums and when it switch to Stop & Shop she remained there.

Robin is an amazing woman, always being there for everyone else and putting herself second. Her family is her entire world they are suffering horribly. There is not a life insurance policy and the family is in dire hardship. I would like to raise $20,000 to help for robins final expenses and any medical bills that will be outstanding. If we can go beyond that, that would be greatly appreciated.
