Robertson Hurricane Harvey relief

Donation protected
Hi everyone- our extended family was struck right in the center of hurricane Harvey and has suffered tremendous loss along with their friends, neighbors and communities. Many of you have asked how to help. With the banks closed and no mail service anymore this is the best way to get them the resources they need. What is raised will go directly to them and will be shared with others as the needs arise. We are thankful for their safety and continue to pray for them as this recovery will be a long road. Here is the update Whitney sent this morning. Thank you for helping in this time of need. ❤️

"We have been blessed so much already and the love just keeps surrounding us.
First, the rescue evacuation team (Troy and Travis) who heard our son hollering from the second floor deck, they came up to our back porch and patiently took the 4 of us and 3 dogs. They also boarded our friend, Travis, who swam in to rescue his 3 dogs. They took us all in Troy's small fishing boat on Sunday afternoon. This was one of many they and other volunteers completed Sunday in our neighborhood. We were so.e of the very last since we had safety on our second floor and we were not alone.
Next were the nice gentlemen in a Jeep (Troy and Tim) who stopped when they saw us walking. They drove us all the way to the home of our friends (Dick and Laura) who offered us their home and use of their cars.
Then, yesterday, Monday, Clayton and his Dad from Manvel, just happened to be putting a boat in to find people to help. When we drove up to check on the water levels. They took Jim and my brother Bob back in to rescue our cats and retrieve meds, keys, some clothing and documents.
My brother has been living with us since April. He lost his pick up truck and we lost a big company pick up and my SUV, all completely submerged. We are unsure how our other losses will stack up but, there was a foot or so of water running freely through the house on Sunday when we left and Harvey is not finished with Texas and Louisiana yet. We found out Monday morning that the house is not covered for flood damage.
We request prayer for all those affected by this Storm, for safety, shelter, comfort, love and assistance in getting back to normal. God bless you all.
It is uncomfortable for us to accept assistance but, we are in no position to turn it away. We will use any help we receive, only for repair and relief from Hurricane Harvey and we will share any additional funds with others with the same needs."
