Robert's medical care

Robert Reuss, 12, of Westerleigh, a student at Markham Intermediate (I.S. 51), is recovering at Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton following surgery to fix his left leg that was broken in the crash shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Neal Dow and Leonard avenues. He has pins and rods in his leg and his recovery time will be at least two months. Robert's mom is a single mom working two jobs. This tragedy has cost her to miss work without pay. This go fund me page is set up to help her be able to take a few weeks off from work to care for Robert like any other mom would want to do without the burden of worrying how she is going to pay her bills. Robert will also have to undergo intense physical therapy with costly medical bills in the future.
