Robert's Learning Trip to England

In March of 2018, I have the oppertunity to travel with a group of other CCU students to Birmingham, England. I would experience ministry and culture from  a whole new perspective. This service-learning trip to England would allow me to learn and gain persepctive from community development groups, mission organizations, and other facets of ministry that take place in different parts of the world.

I have a great desire to learn how to minister to people.  I benefit greatly from learning how different cultures and people are effected by different areas of ministry and service. It has become clear to me as I enter into my junior year at Cincinnati Christian University, that there are so many new and unique ways that  ministry happens in the world, and I want to learn more about them.  It is apparent to me that ministry, and what that mission calls for, is different depending on the community and culture I am serving in. 

This trip is an investment in me and my understanding of cultures and ministry, this is not an investment in Birmingham. I hope that by learning and expereincing cultures and ministries that are different than my own, I can return from this trip with a newfound understanding and perspective that I can apply to ministries I am involved in to help find ways I can help my communities and ministies flourish. 

This trip costs $2500. While this is a large amount of money, this price covers all expenses of the trip. By donating to me and my trip to England, you are investing in me, my education, and my future in ministry. This is an experience that I am confident will better enable and equip me to work in ministry as I continue down this path in my life. I am excited to go and learn, and I thank you all in advance for your support whether it be in prayer or financially.
