Roberto Medina's Memorial

Donation protected
To everyone who may not yet heard the news, my dear father Roberto Medina Roman passed away in the morning of December 7th, 2017.  He had been suffering from Lupus for many years and that affected his health. In 2014 his health started to declined, he had a stroke and the following year in 2015 he had a heart attack. But those events didn't take him down, he kept fighting and living every day with hope of a better tomorrow.

At the beggining of this month (December 2017), he started feeling sick again, we took him to the hospital where we were told that his heart was weak and his lungs were getting filled with fluid. He was then hospitalized and stayed at the hospital for 5 days. After the 5 days he was discharged and came home. He was so happy to be back. The next morning, in less than 24 hours we had to call 911 because he wasn't responding, he couldn't talk nor communicate. Long story short he ended up passing away in less than 24 hours from making it to the hospital. That left my family and I devastated and with a huge hole in our hearts.

He was a fearless person. He had a passion for cars, he spent day and night working on them. He loved going to car events and watch car races.
His other passion was our dog Byron, my dog was very attached to him. They were together all the time, they were best friends.

He was my hero, my everything. "Papi" was an incredible father and person. He was very caring and supportive. He taugh me many things about life, most importantly he showed me to be strong no matter what and to be fearless. Papi and my mom were always there for me. We were a very close family and so it's hard to think that he is not around anymore but he will be always in our hearts.  I  will always love him and admire him.

Receiving any support from their "chosen" family and friends  would be extremely helpful. All donations will go towards the funeral and cremation costs.

Any remaining donations will go towards my mom and I, now that we will have difficulties to make ends meet.

I just ask that you donate if you can and share if you can't, to help my mom and I to be able to focus on grieving the loss of my father. Thank you all <3
