Roberto & Aldair Hernandez

On Saturday August 19th, 2017 Roberto and Liz were having a small get together for their daughters birthday. The family enjoys campfires and had planed to have one that night. Roberto, Liz and baby Aldair had went in the back yard and started the process for the bonfire. It was then when Roberto went to light the wood and something exploded, made a loud boom and before anyone knew, Roberto and baby Aldair were on fire. Liz tended to baby Aldair not knowing where Roberto was. When she got the fire out on the baby she turned around and saw Roberto was on fire from head to toe. Liz and family memebers ran over to Roberto to get the fire out.

Roberto will be spending 4-6 months at Akron Children's Burn unit and baby Aldair will be spending 1-2 months in Akron Childrens burn unit.

The family has a long road ahead of them. There is many family and friends that have asked what they can do to help. This Gofundme page has been set up to help with medical expensese and loss of income on both Liz and Roberto. Any amount makes a difference!
