Roberta Vasquez Memorial/Bens Trust

Vasquez & Casali. United we are strong. Two families raised in a 'survivor' and 'never give up' atmosphere.
We have come to the close of our chapter with Mari Roberta Vasquez. Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Godmother, Aunt, Cousin, Niece, and Treasured Friend.
Roberta survived a stroke in 2012; which challenged the left side of her body. Refusing to ever settle, she overcame the weakness on her left side and was able to restore a majority of her strength.
Around about Summer 2015, Roberta was hospitalized for months, and released with a lifetime of dialysis in front of her. Although this put a damper on her overall health; it did nothing to deter her feisty spirit.
In August of 2017 she was hospitalized once again; as she sustained a few heart attacks. She had bypass surgery, fought through pneumonia as well as challenges with her circulatory system, and was due to be released from Kindred Hospital around 10/16/17. She unexpectedly crossed over on 10/14/17.
Our hearts are both broken and blessed, for the few 53 years we were able to spend with her here on earth.
We have posted this page, because we are not defeated; we are survivors who have lost a dear soul; whom we will never forget.
Proceeds donated to this page will be distributed as follows:
1) To cover the cost(s) associated with a Memorial Gathering
2) To set up a Special Needs Trust for Benjamin Taylor Vasquez. Benjamin is Roberta and Anthony's 27 year old child; who is challenged with Autism. It is Benjamin that we (collectively; as a family) are most concerned about ....as he was at Roberta's side all the days of his life, and is doing his very best to cope with the loss of his best friend and Mother. We will do whatever it takes, to help minimize the severity of this loss; for the rest of Benjamin’s life. Your gift can help us in our mission of mercy.
God bless you all....never take one moment of your life for granted, and share with those closest to you - that you love them. Time is fleeting ...yet love which is pure of heart, lives on forever.
