Robert W. McKitrick Jr.'s Memorial
Donation protected
Recently, we lost a good friend and a long time supporter and participate in the Triangle area dance community in Robert W. McKitrick Jr. He is survived by his twenty year old son Steven.
We would like to help Steven in his aspirations to finish his Wake Tech Community college studies, and encourage him to continue his academic studies after graduation.
College is expensive (books, supplies, computer laptop etc.), and we would like to encourage our dance friends to contribute to our fundraiser for Steven. He has very limited access at this time to funds that will help him pay his upcoming financial obligations.
Whether you knew Robert or not, if you can assist us in making a difference in a young persons life, we would be very grateful to you.
Thanking you all for your generosity and love.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT A CELEBRATION/MEMORIAL SERVICE:
I am having a celebration/memorial of Robert W. McKitrick Jr.'s life, our love, and the love of his friends on Sunday, December 10th, at 2:30 PM at Loafer's Beach Club located at 605 Creekside Dr, Raleigh, NC 27609-7807. Deborah Gibson and her husband Gary have graciously donated the time and place to allow those of us who love and miss Robert to gather together to share memories and stories and be able to express our grief at his early passing.
If you have time after church to bring some finger food/munchies it would be much appreciated in addition to what I'm going to try to have Deborah cater. There will be a cash bar, music, and a slide show presentation, too. I am going to try to do a verbal obituary so if any of you has some information that is important please please share it with me.
Many of you have known Robert for 20 years and as much time as we spent together I cannot possibly know what some of you know. If enough people want to stay to dance that will make it possible for Loafer's to stay open in the evening that might be an option, we just need to know how many people want to stay and how many people will be leaving for the Elks Lodge.
I have had several people who will be willing to get up and say a few words about Robert and his impact on each of our lives over the years. If you are willing to get up and say some words about how Robert impacted your life, please let me know!
Thank you in advance to those of you who will help me let everyone know how Robert touched each of our lives. I look forward to seeing the dance community and Robert's coworkers on December 10th.
