Where do I begin? I would like to be able to tell you that my brother Robert was diagnosed with cancer. And now he is cured & lived happily ever after. The End. Unfortunately, that is not the case. It began with facial paralysis several months back. Doctors initially thought it to be a mini stroke. From there he was misdiagnosed with Bells Palsy. This went on for over 7 months. After pleading with doctors to acknowledge a lump under his ear, he was finally sent to Ann Arbor for further study. It was not what we wanted to hear. Cancer had attached itself to his Corroded Artery. Extensive Surgery was needed and so his story continued. After 13 hours of surgery performed by a 5 member team of Surgeons; he began the long road to recovery. The affects of the paralysis along with the surgery & multiple procedures have robbed him of his ability to work. Now begins the process of radiation & prayers. My brother has always been a strong, proud & independent man; always willing to help anyone in need. Now it is himself that needs the help. So on behalf of my Brother & my friend I am asking for your help. The responsibilities of life have not slowed down for him or his children.
