Robert Puffer's road to recovery fund

I'm Tom Cole and on Saturday 10/17 my step dad Robert Puffer was in a horrific accident that nearly cost him his life.  Robert is married to my mother Kelly and is an amazing person.  He treats all of their grandkids as if they were his own and does an amazing job providing for my mother. He has been a truck driver for several years and has always done his part to keep everyone in the road around him safe.  On Saturday Rob had dropped his trailer in Barstow, CA and picked up another one to return to St George, UT with. He was about 30 minutes into his return trip when another semi truck headed southbound came through the center divider and slammed into Rob's truck head on. The result was horrific. It tore the entire front of Robs semi off and left Rob trapped in the truck. Amazingly a relative of a close friend of his was the first in the scene and helped to get Rob out of the truck.  Robert's injuries were quite bad and he was air lifted to a local hospital in Southern CA.  Rob has been left with two terribly broken arms,  a lot of stitches and damage. He's underwent his first surgery to stabilize one hand and arm and will have another surgery to stabilize his other arm as soon as he is able to undergo that operation.  He has a very long road to recovery ahead of him and this fundraiser will go to help cover the cost of traveling to and from doctors visits,  lodging while traveling,  covering their day to day expenses such as their mortgage,  food,  all the medication needed for him and my mother and anything else that may arise.
