Robert Madsen’s funeral and relief expenses

Donation protected

Robert  passed on November 20th, his wishes were to be cremated and brought up to Washington to be with myself(daughter) and first grandchild. Even tho he was a veteran he didn’t want to be taken to a memorial cemetery, he wanted to be with myself all the time to watch over us

Robert had cancer, that we knew of for over a year and a half. He suffered from stage four leomyosarcoma in which they did surgery to remove a tumor in his stomach surrounding his organs. They then did chemotherapy and radiation hoping that would help get rid of the cancer. Just a few months ago they did a pet scan and noticed the cancer wasn’t in his stomach anymore and that it was embedded into his lungs leaving multiple masses. I instantly flew to Las Vegas to admit him into the hospital, they then put a chest tube in his right side because he had fluid (blood) in his lungs causing him to struggle breathing. They tried multiple blood infusions hoping it would help. They then sent him to a hospice for end of life treatment, where they put him on medicines to help keep him comfortable. He was unresponsive, couldn’t talk, couldn’t open his eyes, wouldn’t even budge when the nurses would move him in different positions or even put in new IVs. He was on oxygen but struggled to breathe, he went in his sleep and was pronounced dead at 3:02 am Friday morning.

thank you for taking the time to read and be there for the family. Anything helps, but let’s get this man home with his daughter.
