Robert Lettenga's Medical Adventure
Robert (Rob) Lettenga had a farm accident on July 8th 2017 around 4:30pm. The swather (Tractor) catching on fire here on the farm in Conrad, MT. He tried to put the fire out with the fire extinguisher and the gas tank exploded causing Rob to be burned over 20% of his body. The main and most damaging burns are to his hands, arms and face. He is in SLC burn hospital right now and he is doing fine. He is breathing on his own and did not inhale any flames as this was outside, lucky for us. They flew him down there the same day of the accident. He will be down there for about a month, and then will get to finish his recovery at home. He will not be able to use his hands for probaly 3 months. My family will be drving back and fourth from Montana to Utah to see him as we have jobs and can't afforad to stay down there with him. We are asking for help with the medical bills, travel expenses, and some help for the equipment we are gonna need to get to help Rob finish his recovery at home. We thank everyone for their time and help. Every little bit counts.
