Robert Landau's Fight For His Life

Hi my name is Clare Landau, First I want to thank all of you that have prayed for my husband-Robert Landau.
My husband (Bob to many of you) is in for the fight of his life. Out of the blue, he was admitted to the hospital with his liver in failure and diagnosed with NAFLD (Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease) which had progressed to complete Cirrhosis of the liver. We were told that Robert needed a liver transplant in order to survive.
This is where our real story begins...
on July 26th, 2018 Robert was transplanted. What should have been 2-3 days in ICU and another week or two on the floor has turned into 56 days and counting (36 days in ICU). He has fought pneumonia 3 times, drains in each lung, several blood infections, 2 serious infections, 32 blood transfusions, vocal chord issues (still unable to talk), unable to swallow, unable to walk and continual altered mental status.
God has had his hand in this entire process. The surgeon stated that the liver for Robert was a PERFECT match, so perfect that it could have come from a family member. All we know about Robert's donor is that he was a male in his twenties that had been involved in an auto mobile accident. We are so grateful that his family turned their tragedy into our blessing.
Although we have medical insurance, Sadly this situation has exhausted most of our resources with many financial challenges were still facing. It is at this point that I realized that I need help from my community and friends.
We have started this Go Fund Me page to ease the burden of the mounting medical costs as well as the expenses of his future care and recovery. Once Robert is released, he will be on 36+ medications, each with a co-payment of $30 or more. I will have to take 3 unpaid days off a work a week for a period of time so that a family member is with Robert for the first 30 days out of the hospital. Since it will be unpaid leave, I will have to pay out of pocket my health insurance premiums to ensure they do not lapse. After that time we will have to hire a nurse's aide to be with Robert to assist him with care and to attend 3 appointments a week at JMH Liver transplant clinic for testing.
While we are certainly thankful for God's provisions and the thoughts and prayers from all of you, from the bottom of my heart I humbly ask you to share this link with friends and family and if possible in giving (any amount will help) it would be greatly appreciated.
