I lost my little brother yesterday morning. It was a tragic and unexpected loss. At 26 years old he was battling an addiction, one that has been destroying the tri-cities for some time. We tried so hard and prayed so often to help him get the help he so desperately need, and to conquore this affliction. So now the battle is over, but Christ has won in the end. 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 "Death is swallowed up in victory". "O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory though our Lord Jesus Christ.
I want to tell you just how beautiful he was. He was so special, near and dear to my heart. He was loved so much, and loved by so many. He had such a big heart, full of love and laughter. He would go out of his way to help anyone. He had an impact in so many lives.
With Robert being so young, we were just not prepared for something like this. We all should be able to grow old and enjoy our time on this earth.
I know if your reading this Robert has some type of impact in your life, friend, reletive, co-worker. I know money is tight for everyone. I ask you, instead of paying for flowers, cards or such things, please donate towards his funeral and memoral service. It is much needed and appreciated.
The money donated will go straight to J. M. Wilkerson in Petersburg to pay for the unforseen services and fees associated with his funeral and memoral service.
Thank you for helping us honor him and glorify our Lord in this time of need.
