Robert Fabing Benefit Clinic

In March of 2016 our dear friend, Robert Fabing, was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. Since then Robert has undergone Chemotherapy accompanied by brain surgery and is winning the fight against cancer. Through all of this he has been an outstanding example of perserverance and true character to us all in the town of Hollister, CA.
On December 22nd and 23rd I will be joining forces with Haybaler baseball and softball to host a benefit fundraiser and two-day baseball and softball clinic for Robert Fabing in Hollister, CA. The clinic will feature a great and knowledgeable staff of local guest instructors. These instructors include many former Haybaler athletes who have gone on to play collegiatelly/professionally, and will also include Billy Aviles (Baler varsity baseball coach) and Andrew Barragan (Baler varsity softball coach). The purpose of this clinic is to bring local athletes of the past together and teach local young and aspiring athletes how to improve their game. All the while, this clinic will serve as a benefit fundraiser for a man who has helped so many of us growing up. Robert Fabing has been an instrumental piece to many of our athletic careers in the small town of Hollister, CA. He has personally impacted our careers on the field and also taught us many life lessons about how to carry ourselves away from the field as well. Robert always teaches his athletes about hard work, determination, sportsmanship, respecting your opponent, humility, and passion. The most important lesson Robert taught me personally was to care for people in my community (wherever I was), and regardless of any outcome on the field to always treat people with respect. So much time in Robert's life has been spent giving back to us as young athletes and so much of his energy went into shaping us into better people. This is a time for us as a community to come together and give back to Robert and the Fabing family for everything they have given to us.
If you cannot attend the benefit baseball clinic and would like to donate to the Fabing family in another way please join us in raising money on this page. ALL funds raised through this page will be donated directly to the Fabing family to help with Robert's medical expenses. I have made this page to handle all additional donations to our benefit fundraiser outside of the baseball clinic. We would love any contribution, large or small, if possible to help out this amazing family with some of Roberts medical expenses. Robert has been there for us countless times, now it is our chance to pay it forward! FABING STRONG
