On September, 2013, my kind hearted friend was struck with devastating news. A cat-scan uncovered a malevolent brain tumor. Miraculously, his surgery was a success and through a rigorous recovery process and with the help of his doctors, nurses and God, Robert made a full recovery.
While many would have found such events to be trying and soul breaking, my friend found newfound vigor and passion for life. Robert no longer took his time for granted as he started a meaningful path towards rediscovering his purpose in life as well as helping anyone he encountered along the way.
During his ordeal, I never knew him to ask me or anyone for help and that is why it is all that much more painful that I write that on July, 2018 he was diagnosed with Leukemia.
I saw him a week after his diagnosis and I no longer saw my vibrant friend; before me stood an individual crushed by cruel circumstances that were no fault of his own.
Robert has started chemotherapy treatments but, with his former and now current medical bills, he is absolutely inundated. Please help my friend continue his fight with cancer. All proceeds will go directly to Robert. In addition, Robert nor I, have any issues giving you his direct contact as well as emailing you proof of his former and current medical situation. Any funds he receives will go directly to paying his medical bills. Please know that your donation may help him live a longer, more beautiful life and, for that, he and I will be eternally grateful.
