Robby’s Medical Bills

Robby Allison is a 30 year-old son, brother, friend, and a long time boyfriend. Robby is a loving family man, an ex-college athlete, and a dedicated employee in the kitchen side of the restaurant industry. He is a sauté cook at Henry’s in Acworth Georgia, a high end restaurant. Robby recently started a new position there (5 weeks ago).

Robby was, by all appearances a healthy young man until last Monday. He was getting ready for dinner when he was struck by a sudden extreme chest pain. Kristin, Robby’s long time girlfriend, rushed him to the emergency room at Kennestone Hospital. After a chest X-ray and a Catscan he was diagnosed with a blood clot in his right lung and acute anemia. His blood count was extremely low. Robby was immediately given a transfusion and blood thinners. He was admitted to the hospital and a patient for 5 days. The doctors at Kennestone have run many tests, given him more blood transfusions and blood thinners to stabilize him, but have yet to determine the cause. He was discharged today (Saturday, March 3rd, 2018) but faces many more tests and expensive medications.

As you might imagine Robby faces some very expensive medical costs. As I mentioned, Robby took a new position 5 weeks ago and his benefits at his new employer have not yet started. Robby is currently without health care insurance. We would greatly appreciate any help you can offer Robby with his medical bills.
