Dear Family and Friends,
There are some people in your life that you will literally give an arm and a leg for, and let me tell you about one of them. My Aunt Robbin may very well be the strongest person I know. From the day I was born until now, she has been by my side through thick and thin, and been my rock in time of need. Over the past 10 years, she has been my shoulder to cry on, an advisor, and ultimately, a second mother to me. Through all of this however, she has been going through struggles of her own.
In 2005, She was diagnosed with breast cancer, and as you can imagine, she fought it like a champion--never letting the world forget how much of a fighter she truly is. Through her entire struggle, she always put her family first, including myself. Now, nearly 10 years later, she is battling the same cancer that had tried to bring her down not once, but twice before. In Robbin's situation, anyone would have easily thrown in the towel and given up, however, that is not the case. Like a true survivor, she is fighting on, but that does not mean struggle does not lay ahead.
As I am sure you can all imagine, the cost of treatment is quite extensive for chemo therapy, radiation, and any unexpected medial costs along the way. Robbin has and will always be one to put other's concerns and worries before her own. The last concern I want her to have now is financial. I please ask you all to help me ease the burden on Robbin's medical expenses, and donate anything you feel is doable. Whether it's $1 or $1,000,000, this will not only help Robbin herself, but it will allow her smile to shine brighter and her presence light up a room as it always has. Nobody can possibly understand the impact she has had on my life, but I hope through reading this, you can get a glimpse into the life of the woman that has me reaching out to you all to help.
