Robbie Urquhart - Mental Health Resiliency Award

Donation protected
In loving memory of Robert James Urquhart;

Robbie was a kind soul, a kid at heart who enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hiking and fishing, he could often be seen skateboarding around West Hamilton. Although he died from natural causes, on the more difficult side, Robbie struggled with mental health for most of his life.

One of Robbie's biggest regrets was that he didn't graduate from Nipissing University where in his late 20s he decided to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Falling a few credits short, his struggles with mental health ultimately prevented him from completing his degree.

To honor him, we are working with Nipissing University to create an endowment fund which will be used to commemorate Robbie. The Robbie Urquhart - Mental Health Resiliency Award will be awarded to future students also struggling with mental health and provide financial assistance as they pursue their degree.

In memory of Robbie, donations to the endowment fund would be gratefully appreciated.
