Pain, it comes in all forms. The small twinge, a bit of soreness, the random pain that we live with every day. Then there is the kind of pain you just can’t ignore, a level of pain so great that it blocks out everything else, makes the rest of your world fade away until all we can think about is how much we hurt. Time can only heal a grieving heart, but time stands still in the moments when you’re watching a loved one pass away and there is nothing that you can do, but wait. After a seven-and-a-half-month hospital stay, becoming a quadriplegic, trachea induced, seven surgeries, blood infections, liver failure, and fluid in the lungs, my dad, Robbie’s time is coming to an end. Funeral expenses are the last thing that a grieving family wants to worry about, now that’s a thought that comes up too often. Our family is thankful for all your thoughts, prayers, and donations.
