Robbed in Madrid

Friends. In the blink of an eye, a majority of your digital life can walk away. And so happened to me in Madrid last week. It was clearly an organised team, and it was the classic distract and swap technique. A man asked me for directions (and got me to turn away from my bag that was at my feet. Seconds later, I looked down and discovered another black bag, just not the one that contained my laptop, iPad, two camera lenses, and a host of other sentimental items. Yes, they got my Alexander McQueen scarf, and RayBan sunglasses I bought ten years ago, the day I moved to Europe.
