Robbed for XMas!

My son, Caius, went downtown to keep a friend company while she got a tattoo.  He was sitting on a bench in the waiting area and got up a few times to check on her progress.   When he stood up, his wallet must have slipped out of his coat pocket and dropped onto the bench.  An opportunistic passerby seems to have quickly picked it up during the 4-5 minutes that he was on the other side of the shop.  Unfortunately, there were quite a few people coming in and out, and the bench is positioned right next to the front door.  Employees were helpful and sympathetic- joining in the search, and checking the video cameras, but they weren't able to find anything.

Caius came to town to visit his little brother and sister for Christmas.  He rode the train up from L.A. where he shares a two bedroom apartment with three people.  Caius just turned 20 yrs old last month, works full time and is totally self-sufficient.  We're all  proud that, since he moved out over a year ago, he's never asked for help or money.   On his birthday or Christmas, we try and send him a few bucks.   Unfortunately, that's what he had in his wallet; $300 from various family members, a few gift cards, and the couple hundred dollars that he had left over after paying rent.  Of course his ATM, credit cards and drivers license were in there as well.

If you could throw in a couple dollars to get him a train ticket back home and help him with groceries until he gets paid again in two weeks, you'd really help bail him out of a terrible spot!

Thanks so much for anything you can do.
