As many will know Rob passed away sadly on Monday.
Many people knew Rob throughout his life from various segments, be that personal, work or the pubs and clubs Rob went to. He a varied and large circle of friends and colleagues. Wherever he went he made friends and was popular.
I personally knew Rob from the local area as we had mutual friends and he came to work with me both locally and away at festivals. We were part of a great team and had a good laugh, finishing work and often ending up in a pub somewhere.
Rob had unknown to many been unwell for some time and finances had run very short as he had not worked due to illness in his security role which he enjoyed (esp. the festivals!)
With being a young guy and like many of us not thinking about insurance there has been a great gap in what is needed to ensure things are done right for Rob and what is available.
His funeral is going to be on Tuesday 14th May 2019 at 1 pm and take place at Landican Cemetery, Wirral
It is going to cost £2,500 for Rob's funeral which obviously is a large sum for Ruth who has been with Rob nearly everyday for months and his family to find on top of the grief that they are suffering.
Nobody expected Rob to leave us so quickly which gave no time for things to be put in place.
If any of his friends and colleagues old and new can help in anyway this would be very much appreciated.
All donations will be used to give Rob a dignified funeral and if there is an excess this will be either put towards a memorial or donated to a relevant charity in Rob's name at the decision of his family.
