Rob Reedy Youth Baseball Memorial Scholarship

Robert Kenneth Reedy Jr, 51, passed away on May 30, 2019. Beyond caring for his family, Rob's purpose and joy in life was to teach the great game of baseball. In his 13 years as a youth volunteer coach with Coppell Baseball Association (CBA), Rob coached 21 teams, 700+ games, 2,000+ practices, 75+ try-outs and led the efforts of two teams to travel to Cooperstown, NY. The lives touched and memories made are countless.
In honor of Rob and his significant contributions to the lives of many youth baseball players, we have established a "Rob Reedy Youth Baseball Memorial Scholarship" fund. The Scholarship will fund one youth player in CBA each year in both the Fall and Spring seasons.
Upon announcing the establishment of the Scholarship during Rob’s eulogy, Richard Williams (fellow CBA Coach) shared the following: "While many tears have been shed and many will continue as we think about Rob's passing, it is incredibly encouraging to know that ones' works on earth will continue to pay off long after they are gone. I'm confident that Rob's investments in the youth of Coppell will continue to pay off over their lifetime."
